The desire to live and breathe all things français has not been the whim of a moment, but rather, the progression of half a lifetime. Holding an eloquent conversation in French was the dream of the overambitious ten year old who checked out “Five Minute French” audiobooks from the library. Traveling in France was the hope of the curious twelve year old who fell in love with its culture in her first French class. Visiting Paris was the goal of the senior in high school after taking an unforgettable trip to Québec. And now that I actually have the opportunity to live in Paris for the next five months I intend to experience as much as possible.
